 8 Ball Aitken performs honk, stomp, Aussie swamp country. It’s a big sound from Queensland’s deep north, booming through the canefields, and delivering foot-stomping fun. The former FNQ banana picker has produced his fourth album, ‘The Tamworth Tapes’. 8 Ball takes listeners on a sizzling hot road-trip to the Country Music Capital, recording straight to tape and playing every instrument on the album himself -- including guitars, banjo, harmonica, bass, and percussion. 8 Ball continues to tour for more than 10-months each year across every state and territory of Australia as well as festivals and gigs throughout Europe and North America. His chart hits to date include, ‘Cyclone Country’, ‘Hands On Top Of The Wheel’ & ‘Rogue Pony’. 8 Ball's previous album 'Rebel With A Cause' won two Queensland Song Awards, and a Southern Star Award in Mildura.
