Following the chart-blazing success of her debut EP, and its three hit singles, Tori launches her hauntingly beautiful debut album ‘Dreams & Chances’, which charted a # 5 on the ARIA (Australian Country Charts) and a # 10 on the ARIA Charts it its first two weeks of release along side Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum and Taylor Swift. Tori’s first single Someone Else’s Baby, released from the album, has skyrocketed up the country charts peaking at # 1 on both Cool Country 2KA and The Hot Country Tracks Top 50 also currently charting at # 4 on Nick Urby’s Country Tracks Top 30 and peaked at # 4 on Mildura Hot FM charts. CMC chose the video clip for Someone Else’s Baby as their ‘Country Pick’ and the single entered the CMC Charts at # 25 peaking at # 8.
2010 was a sensational year for Tori, culminating with her hit single Crawl winning the 2010 Award for Best International Country Song in the Toronto Exclusive Music Awards, Tori also being announced as a finalist in Canada’s 2010 Overall Artist of the Year.
Winning the Golden Saddles ‘People’s Choice Award’ and the Channel C Blue Sapphire Award for ‘Best New Talent’ crowned an amazing year. These awards followed the release of Tori’s third single ‘Not My Time To Fly’. This heartfelt ballad soared to number 6 on the Country Tracks Top 30, receiving great response from critics and fans winning the hearts of everyone. Ronald McDonald House Charity chose the single as the theme song on the Ronald McDonald House Charity Testimonial DVD. Adding to her impressive list of successes in 2010, Tori was winner of the ‘Best New Talent’ Gold Medallion Award, a 2010 Toyota Star Maker Top 5 Grand Finalist, Telstra Road
To Tamworth Songwriting Runner Up and a Finalist in The Australian Independent Country Music Southern Stars ‘Rising Star’ Awards. The accolades continue in 2011 as Tori is announced a finalist in the 2011 CMC Oz Artist of the Year and the CMC New Oz Artist of the Year Awards.
Whilst in Nashville, Tori had the privilege of writing with esteemed songwriters, John Bettis (Madonna, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston), Phil Barton, Emily Shackelton and Robin Bruce (LeAnne Rimes, Jo Dee Messina) in preparation for her new album.
Also performing as one of the opening acts for KENNY CHESNEY in Canada, Tori has performed along side Doc Walker, Jo Dee Messina, Johnny Reid, Paul Brant and The Steve Miller Band with supports to THE MCCLYMONTS, JETTY ROAD and AMBER LAWRENCE.
